We are currently hiring for our client based in Leicester a leading specialist in architectural metalwork, structural steel, and bespoke work for high-end projects. As part of their continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Draughtsperson to join the Drawing Office team

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed general arrangement (GA), fabrication, and installation drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Develop accurate 3D models and drawing packages for architectural metalwork, feature staircases, and structural steel components.
• Collaborate with design, production, and site teams to ensure constructability and design coordination.
• Manage drawing revisions, updates, and change control in line with project requirements.
• Maintain company drawing standards and contribute to ongoing process improvement.
• Provide technical input during project meetings and assist in resolving design-related queries.

Essential Requirements

• UK-based experience within the architectural metalwork or structural steel industry.
• Strong understanding of UK fabrication and installation standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience with other 3D modelling or CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
